Recurring Coffee Service for Your Office Building or Commercial Property

Get a professional barista and full specialty coffee bar to transform your business's coffee routine into something your team or tenants genuinely look forward to daily or weekly.

Every office, retail floor, and brand activation has a coffee situation. For most, it’s a hotel-pan urn or a single-serve pod machine that nobody really likes. The two obvious alternatives — buy a $15,000 espresso machine and hire a barista, or do nothing — both come with their own problems. There’s a third option that didn’t used to exist, which is what brings most people to this page.

We’re Coffee Cart Boys, a specialty coffee and tea catering company based in Pasadena. We run a pop-up coffee bar service across Los Angeles, Orange County, the Inland Empire, and the broader Southern California region — for offices, coworking spaces, retail stores, hotels, studios, conferences, and brand activations. Whether you want us once a week as an on-site coffee residency, once a quarter for a client-facing event, or for a multi-day pop-up coffee shop activation, the format is the same: we show up with a real espresso bar and a professional barista, we pour for your team or your customers, and we leave the space exactly as we found it.

What a Pop-Up Coffee Bar Looks Like

When people picture a pop-up coffee bar, sometimes they imagine a folding table with a domestic espresso machine on it. What we actually bring is a fully equipped mobile coffee cart staffed by a trained barista — capable of producing 50+ specialty drinks per hour without sacrificing the quality of a single one. The setup looks like a real cafe counter dropped into your space, not a vendor table.

How Each Pop-Up Visit Works

We arrive, set up in under 60 minutes, and spend the service window making drinks to order. When service ends, we break down completely and leave the space exactly as we found it. There’s no cleanup for your staff, no equipment to maintain between visits, and no supplies to manage. We show up, we do excellent work, and we leave.

What Our Mobile Coffee Cart Brings — What You Provide

We bring everything needed to run a high-quality coffee bar: a professional-grade espresso machine, the milk, the beans, the syrups, the tools, and the barista. All we need from you is a standard power outlet and approximately 8×10 feet of space. No water hookup, no kitchen access, no special infrastructure. Indoors, outdoors, lobby, courtyard, retail floor — same setup, same standard.

Better Than the Keurig, Cheaper Than Building a Cafe

Here’s the honest version of the choice most companies are actually making. Option one is the office Keurig, which everyone tolerates and nobody likes. Option two is building an in-house coffee program — a $10K–$20K espresso setup, a part-time barista on payroll, an ongoing supply chain for beans and milk, and a manager who has opinions about all of it. Option three is a recurring pop-up coffee bar that gives your team a real cafe experience on a schedule, with no equipment to buy, no staff to hire, and no supply chain to manage.

Most clients didn’t know option three existed until someone in leadership asked the question. Once it’s on the table, it usually wins on every dimension that matters: experience, cost, complexity, and the part nobody talks about — the time the office manager would otherwise spend ordering oat milk.

How Businesses Use Our Pop-Up Coffee Bar

The same setup serves a few distinct B2B use cases. Most clients fall into one of these patterns, but the model is flexible — we can scale a one-day activation into an ongoing residency, or condense a weekly residency into a single launch event.

On-Site Coffee Residency for Offices and Coworking

Our on-site coffee residency is a recurring pop-up coffee bar, scheduled at a cadence that works for your business — weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly. It’s the cleanest way to bring specialty coffee into an office or coworking space without buying equipment, hiring staff, or running a cafe. Tech companies and startups use it as a culture perk that says something tangible about how they treat the team. Coworking spaces use it as a member benefit. Law firms and financial offices use it on client-facing days. Production companies use it during pre-production runs. Medical and professional offices use it as a practical morale booster during demanding stretches.

Pop-Up Coffee Shop in Retail and Hospitality

We also run as an in-store coffee bar inside retail spaces, hotels, showrooms, and gallery openings — pulling foot traffic in, giving guests a reason to linger, and turning the visit into something memorable. For retail, that often means a weekend pop-up coffee shop activation; for hospitality, a Saturday-morning lobby service or a multi-day conference residency. Either way, we work with your team to fit the brand, the space, and the customer experience.

Coffee Brand Activations and Marketing Pop-Ups

For agencies and brand teams running activations, our mobile coffee cart is a near-ideal pop-up format. The line itself becomes the moment — guests stop, talk, take photos, and post. We handle setup, service, and breakdown so the marketing team can focus on the activation itself. We’ve supported product launches, brand collaborations, influencer events, and trade-show booth pop-ups, with full custom branding on cups, sleeves, menu boards, and foam art.

Conferences, Trade Shows, and Multi-Day Events

For conference floors, trade shows, summits, and multi-day corporate events, our pop-up coffee bar runs as a guest-barista service that keeps attendees on their feet and energized through long sessions. We coordinate with your event team on placement, hours, and any custom branding, and we’ll send compliance documentation in advance to whatever venue is hosting.

The Pop-Up Coffee Bar Menu

Our menu is built for the full range of preferences across an office, a retail crowd, or an event audience — from committed espresso drinkers to people who don’t drink coffee at all.

Espresso and Specialty Coffee

Specialty espresso drinks — lattes, cappuccinos, cortados, flat whites, Americanos, macchiatos — alongside hot drip coffee and nitro cold brew on tap. Regular and decaf espresso included as standard. All made with locally roasted, ethically sourced beans, freshly prepared for each service. Every drink is made to order by a real barista, not pre-pulled and held in a carafe.

Cold Drinks and Iced Coffee Bar

Iced espresso drinks, nitro cold brew on tap, and a full iced coffee bar for warm-weather pop-ups, summer office days, and outdoor activations. Cold drinks aren’t an afterthought — they’re a first-class part of the menu.

Tea, Hot Cocoa, and Non-Coffee Options

Cascara coffee cherry tea — a naturally low-caffeine option packed with antioxidants that’s genuinely unique and always a conversation starter — plus hot cocoa, a curated tea selection, fresh juices, and gourmet pastries. Non-dairy milk alternatives (oat, almond), sugar-free syrups, and decaf are always available. Everyone in the room has something they actually want.

Custom Drinks and Seasonal Specials

For ongoing residencies and recurring activations, we’ll often build seasonal specials and custom drinks into the menu — a fall pumpkin spice run, a spring matcha rotation, a holiday mocha, or a custom signature drink built around your brand. It keeps the experience fresh for repeat visitors.

What Your Team — or Your Customers — Actually Get

A pop-up coffee bar does something a break-room machine or a self-serve kiosk genuinely cannot: it creates a social ritual. When there’s a barista in the space making drinks to order, people come to it. They stop what they’re doing, they wait a minute, they talk to the person next to them in line. It becomes a meeting point — the kind of organic, low-pressure interaction that team-building exercises are designed to replicate and rarely do. In an office, that shifts the energy in a way that’s hard to quantify but easy to notice. In retail, that interaction is the entire point of the activation.

Consistent Quality, Every Visit

The quality is consistent visit to visit because the same model — locally roasted beans, professional equipment, trained barista, drinks made to order — applies every time. The Tuesday in February looks like the Tuesday in October. That predictability is most of what people are buying when they hire a pop-up coffee bar service rather than buying a machine.

Flexible Scheduling Built Around Your Business

There’s no rigid service structure to fit into. The schedule is built around what actually works for you.

Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, or One-Off

Some clients book us weekly — a Monday-morning kickoff or a Friday-afternoon wind-down. Others book bi-weekly for team days, or monthly for all-hands meetings, milestone celebrations, or recurring client-facing events. Brand activations are typically one-off or multi-day. Conferences are usually a fixed event window. We’ll structure the residency or pop-up around whichever cadence creates the most value.

Set It Once, Then It Runs on Autopilot

The booking and logistics side of a residency is handled up front so recurring services run on autopilot. You won’t be chasing us down to confirm each visit. Once the schedule is set, we show up when we’re supposed to, do excellent work, and handle everything ourselves. Your single point of contact knows what’s coming and when.

Custom Branding for Client-Facing Pop-Ups

For pop-up coffee bars where the experience is part of how customers, clients, or guests perceive your brand, we offer customization that makes the bar feel designed for the moment.

Branded Cups, Sleeves, and Menu Boards

Branded cups, custom-printed sleeves, and menu boards designed to match your visual identity. In client-facing settings, these details signal intentionality. They say this wasn’t an afterthought — it was designed this way.

Logo Foam Art and Signature Drinks

Custom foam-art stencils featuring your logo, plus signature drinks named for your brand, product, or campaign. For activations that live and die on social, the cup and the foam are the shot people will post.

Insured, Certified, and Ready for Any Business Environment

We carry full commercial liability insurance, health department certification, and our baristas are ServSafe trained. All required permits are included.

Vendor Compliance Documentation

Documentation is available upfront for any vendor compliance requirements your business or building may have. Whether you’re in a corporate tower with strict vendor policies, a studio lot with specific onboarding, a retail mall with management approvals, or a medical facility with heightened standards, we’re experienced working within those frameworks and we’ll send whatever paperwork is needed in advance.

Pop-Up Coffee Bar Service Across Los Angeles and Southern California

We’re based in Pasadena and run pop-up coffee bars throughout the greater Los Angeles area, including Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Downtown LA, Culver City, Santa Monica, Burbank, Glendale, and the surrounding region. We also serve Orange County, the Inland Empire, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Ventura County. If your office, retail location, or activation venue is within driving distance of Los Angeles, we’ll make it work.

A Little About Who We Are

Coffee Cart Boys is a Black and minority-owned business, and community is at the heart of what we do. Our coffees are ethically sourced through direct trade and fresh-roasted locally right before each service. We believe how the coffee is sourced matters as much as how it tastes, and we work with partners who share that value. We also actively give back to the communities we serve, because this work has always been about more than just beverages.

How to Book a Pop-Up Coffee Bar

Booking is straightforward. Reach out through our website and you’ll hear back the same day. We’ll talk through your use case — office residency, retail pop-up, brand activation, conference, or multi-day event — recommend a cadence and a package, and lock the schedule. From there, recurring services run on autopilot.

Pop-Up Coffee Bar FAQs

How much does a pop-up coffee bar cost?

Pricing depends on service hours, location, frequency, guest count, and any add-ons like custom branding or a second barista. As a rough range, a single pop-up service in Southern California typically lands between a few hundred dollars for a short retail activation and a few thousand for a full-day brand activation with extras. Ongoing residency clients usually negotiate a per-visit rate that drops with frequency. We’ll send a flat all-in quote within 24 hours of an inquiry.

What’s the minimum commitment for an on-site coffee residency?

There’s no rigid minimum-term contract. Most residency clients start with a trial — a handful of visits — to see how it fits the office before committing to a longer schedule. We’d rather earn the ongoing engagement by doing excellent work than lock anyone into a contract that hasn’t proven its value.

How long does each pop-up service session run?

Service duration depends on group size and use case. Office residencies typically run 90 minutes to three hours. Retail pop-ups and brand activations often run four to six hours, sometimes longer. Conferences and multi-day events scale to whatever the schedule needs.

Do you need any special infrastructure to run a pop-up coffee bar in our space?

No. Our setup is fully self-contained. We need a standard wall outlet and roughly 8×10 feet of space — that’s it. We’ve run pop-up coffee shops in corporate lobbies, open office floors, conference rooms, parking garages, retail floors, outdoor courtyards, and rooftops.

Can you do a pop-up coffee bar for a brand activation or product launch?

Yes — coffee brand activations are one of our most-booked formats. We collaborate on custom branding (cups, sleeves, menu boards, logo foam art), design a signature drink for the campaign if you’d like, and run the bar so your marketing team can focus on the activation.

Can you function as an in-store coffee bar inside our retail space?

Yes. We run as an in-store coffee bar inside retail and hospitality settings on a one-off, recurring, or seasonal basis. We coordinate with store management on placement, hours, and any compliance paperwork the building requires.

Do you provide a guest barista for events?

Yes. Every pop-up service includes a trained barista. For larger activations or higher-volume events, we’ll add a second barista or station so service stays quick during peak windows.

What happens if we need to cancel or reschedule a residency visit?

We ask for reasonable advance notice — typically 48 to 72 hours — and we’ll move the service to an alternate date or credit the visit. We’re not interested in holding clients to schedules that no longer work for them.

Can we use the residency for client-facing events?

Absolutely. If you have a client meeting, board presentation, new-hire orientation, or any occasion with outside guests in the space, we can time a service to coincide and add custom branding so the bar reflects your company’s identity.

How far in advance should we book?

For one-off pop-ups and brand activations, two to four weeks is comfortable. For ongoing residencies, the lead time depends on the schedule complexity — anywhere from a week to a month. If your need is sooner, reach out anyway. We’ll always tell you what’s available.

Do you provide a Certificate of Insurance for our building?

Yes. We carry full commercial liability insurance and we’ll send a Certificate of Insurance — with whatever specific language or additional insureds your venue or building requires — well before the first service.
